The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has recently mandated that all pupils in Grades 9, 10, and 11 must receive Hepatitis B Vaccine by September 2003. Current 8th grade students as well as high school students must receive the vaccine by September 2003 in order to stay in school. The 12th graders going to college will also need this immunization plus a 2nd MMR. Contact mmckenna@kearnyschools.com for additional information.
